This mid 1800s antique Norwegian painted wood tine box is huge! It features beautiful folk art hand painted decoration on dark red paint, on all 4 sides and the lid. These have gotten so hard to find, and this one is a beauty! The box came from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area. It measures 16" x 12" x 9" high to the top of the uprights. It has wonderful old detailing on the bent wood portion and the lid, with wooden peg and woven seam construction. The lid handle is hand forged iron and original. The box is in good condition and all original. Nice patina with some age appropriate paint loss on the lid. It displays very well. Enjoy!

Please remember you are buying antique/vintage items. There is going to be wear on some of these old treasures. Please be sure to have your questions answered prior to making your purchase. I will ensure your order is packaged carefully for transit.

Yes I do. Please contact me for a shipping quote. Please know that I won't mark items as gifts or lower the stated costs on customs forms to avoid taxes. It's against the law and not something I do.
I do accept returns normally. "IF" a return is authorized for a reason other than my error, I will refund your purchase price (minus all shipping cost) within (5) days of receiving your return (items) back. If the item has Free Shipping then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
I can't refund if you've given me an incorrect shipping address and the item is not returned. If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, you may pay the shipping fee again to have it reshipped.
I use heavy duty boxes, packing peanuts and bubble wrap on any fragile items, and I pack every order with care.
